Semiprecious

Name:
Semiprecious
Collaboration:
Wunder Werkz
Industry:
Hostelería
Country:
USA

Objective

Located in the eclectic River North district of Denver, Semiprecious brings together a world-class cocktail team and design studio Wunder Werkz to create a bar that’s equal parts elevated and easygoing. The interior called for a material that could support bold design expression while meeting the demands of a high-traffic hospitality space- with sustainability at its core.

Approach

Polygood® in the Potpourri pattern was used throughout the interior for custom-fabricated surfaces, including the bar counter and tabletops, produced locally by Work Shop Colorado. The expressive layered texture of Potpourri echoes the bold, unpredictable spirit of the space while offering a clean, high-performance finish suitable for daily hospitality use.

Impact

312 kg of recycled plastic were used to fabricate the bar and interior surfaces — preventing this material from ending up in landfill and turning it into a bold design feature.
