Henriette Stadthotel, Vienna

Henriette Stadthotel is a family-run four-star hotel with 68 rooms at Praterstraße 44–46 in Vienna, Austria, a short walk from the Prater. In 2025 its owners, Verena Brandtner-Pastuszyn and Georg Pastuszyn, renovated it as Austria’s first Circular Living hotel. The concept is inspired by Cradle to Cradle and weighs every material on its health, recyclability and carbon, and on its social and biodiversity impact.

For the new Circular Living rooms, the hotel used Polygood® Sapphire Terrazzo, Emerald Ghost and White Terrazzo for the bathroom washstands, made from plastic that once lined fridges and freezers.
