Morning Coworking Space
Objective
Morning’s Pont de Neuilly coworking space on the fringes of the 16th arrondissement in Paris is a 7,000 m2 building bathed in light and spread over 11 levels. This innovative hub is not only about fostering creativity and collaboration. They also approached us to help make a positive impact on the environment when choosing a recycled material for some of its furnishings.
Approach
Incorporating three Polygood® patterns into its interior design, our Emerald Ghost and Salt Dune designs were shaped into large, oval meeting tables with cuts for inlaid electronics charging consoles for those long breakout sessions. We love how Salt Dune brings out the aviary motif on the dark red wallpaper.
Reverse Timeless Duo made for a more austere meeting table, but it was also used to form smaller half-oval table tops for their intimate booths. Morning loved it so much that it was chosen for the long, curved service counter in the bustling cafe and drawer fronts for wheeled cabinets.
Impact
With a conscious choice to make furniture with Polygood®, Morning has repurposed 1,518 kg of recycled plastic and reduced its environmental footprint. The plastic that comprises our panels — once consumer electronics, spools, and home appliances — has a new purpose at Morning, surrounded by greenery and balconies in spaces that can accommodate up to 750 hard-working people.
