Objective

Samsung pop-up stores across France, Italy, Finland, and Germany needed a sustainable solution for display furniture in stores demonstrating the latest Samsung Galaxy series in 2023. 

Approach

In need of earth-conscious, recycled surface materials to make the furniture, Samsung chose our Polygood® Vintage Pearl pattern from our Light Collection. Its iridescent texture shines brightly under display lights, forming minimalist tables and display pillars that complemented their cutting edge phones and watches.

Impact

Vintage Pearl is a soft, ivory-toned pattern made entirely from recycled refrigerators. The entire project used more than 3,500 kg of 100% recycled and 100% recyclable plastic waste, made into beautiful Polygood® panels. Showcasing environmentally-friendly materials in the tech industry is another giant leap in promoting sustainable practices across all sectors.
